Just-In-Time is a system whereby materials are delivered right when they are needed, where they are needed, in the exact quantity needed. This minimizes both inventory costs and waste due to over-printing or obsolescence. JIT also integrates technology with self-directed teams to eliminate plant-floor bottlenecks and accelerates both the transaction and production process.

Just-In-Time production methods have been around for decades, but few companies have embraced, refined and implemented this philosophy on a grander scale than ViaTech. We’ve taken JIT well beyond the production process and into all phases of our operation, including management and customer service.

ViaTech’s principals have spent their entire careers in creating Just-In-Time manufacturing solutions. Michael Bertuch, ViaTech’s Chief Executive Officer, is routinely asked to lecture on JIT Theory. Ron Simmons, ViaTech’s Chief Operating Officer, is the author of two books and several publications on JIT implementation.
